Jay Ranade, a certified CISA, CISM, CISSP, and CBCP, is a New York City-based management consultant and internationally-renowned expert on computers, communications, disaster recovery, IT Security, and IT controls.  He has written and published 37 IT-related books covering networks, security, operating systems, languages, systems, and more.  He also has an imprint with McGraw-Hill called J. Ranade IBM Series, which includes over 300 titles.  His publications have been translated into several languages including: German, Portuguese, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, and Mandarin.  He has written and published articles for various computer magazines such as Byte, LAN Magazine, and Enterprise Systems Journal.  He is also the author of The New York Times critically-acclaimed book, The Best of Byte.  He is currently working on a number of books on various subjects such as Audit, IT Security, Business Continuity, and IT Risk Management.

Jay has consulted and worked for Global and Fortune 500 companies in the U.S. and abroad including: American International Group, Time Life, Merrill Lynch, Dreyfus/Mellon Bank, Johnson & Johnson, Unisys, McGraw-Hill, Mobiltel Bulgaria, and Credit Suisse.  He was a member of ISACA International's Publications Committee from 2005 to 2007, and he currently serves as a member and advisor to the New York Metropolitan InfraGard, a partnership between the FBI and private sector institutions to safeguard America’s national infrastructure from hostile attacks.  He has been a speaker at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York on Global Financial Infrastructure Protection, and he maintains FBI-certified confidential-level clearance.

Jay also teaches graduate-level classes on Information Security Management and Ethical Risk Management at New York University, and Accounting Information Systems, IT Auditing, and Internal Auditing at St. John’s University.

Dean is a dynamic instructor with more than 20 years in IT systems administration and management. Dean has managed IT security and controls for diverse public and private sector organizations including the United States military and Fortune 500 companies. He was president and Chief Security Officer of Iseeman Inc., where he was responsible for large-scale migrations to Windows 2000. A respected author and teacher, Dean has written world-class self-study materials for the CISSP and enterprise access control systems and has achieved a 97.5% lifetime approval rating from his students.

In addition to being a member of the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium and Information Systems Audit and Control Association, Dean has served on the beta teams for cisecurity.org, Patchlink, Windows 2000, Windows 2003 & MOM 2005.

Chris is an accomplished IT risk management instructor specializing in corporate security policy, vulnerability and assessment auditing, and disaster recovery planning for large-scale global enterprises. He has recruited and trained instructors for security specialties, including CISSP, CEH, Penetration Testing, Systems Forensics, CheckPoint, Symantec, and more.

Chris has designed and developed training curriculum for (ISC)² and custom security-training for various corporations including Exxon-Mobil, Shell, Schlumberger, Chase, Compaq, Fluor Daniels, Humana, HP, VERITAS DGC, and many other Fortune 100 corporations. His work in the public sector includes the USA (including the FBI, CIA, NSA, and all military), Canada (RCMP), United Kingdom (military) and the Netherlands; as well as special Global Organizations including NATO (SHAPE - Supreme Headquarters of Allied Powers of Europe), and the UNLB (United Nations Logistics Base).

Chris also served as CIO and CISO at the Institute for Advanced Global Enterprise Security where he was instrumental in developing standards and methodologies for security auditing and service in both the private and public sector.

An industry veteran with over 20 years of experience, Lyron has led training in information security practices to Fortune 100 companies and the United States Department of Defense. This work has taken him to countries that include the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Riyadh, Singapore, Taiwan, Trinidad and the UK.

He has also worked as a network manager and IT director at the Department of Education in New York City and has led Microsoft Certified Training courses in the CTA program at Columbia University.
