B. Establish a risk-based plan to determine the priorities of internal audit activity.
C. Understand the internal audit activity’s role in organizational governance.
D. Perform other internal audit roles and responsibilities.
E. Governance, risk, and control knowledge elements.

Part 2 – Conducting the Internal Audit Engagement
A. Conduct engagements.
B. Conduct specific engagements.
C. Monitor engagement outcomes.
D. Fraud knowledge elements.

Part 3 – Business Analysis and Information Technology

Part 4 – Business Management Skills
(Note: CISA and CISSP certified professionals are exempt from part 4 of the CIA exam)

The course includes lecture, reviews and practice questions with the main goal of enabling individuals to pass the exam. Students must register with IIA for various parts of the CIA exam separately and ensure that they meet the necessary requirements for certification.
Note: IT Auditors, CISAs, and CISSPs, have strong IT knowledge but need more training in financial accounting, managerial accounting, and economics. Special training will be given for these items in exam prep for part 3 of CIA exam.
